“Your Path to a Better Life" in collaboration with the Egyptian Red Crescent

As part of its efforts to promote community awareness, the Mo'mena Kamel Foundation, in collaboration with the Egyptian Red Crescent, organized a series of awareness sessions for the residents of the Sayeda Aisha area at the Imamain and Al-Tunsi Youth Center. These sessions covered various topics, including healthy behaviors, first aid, and violence prevention. The sessions achieved significant success, increasing children's awareness of healthy behaviors by 52% and mothers' awareness by 69%. Additionally, the foundation conducted awareness workshops on non-violent differences for mothers and children at the Nahdet Al-Mansouria Association in Giza. The goal of these workshops was to foster a culture of peace, tolerance, and understanding among children, building a safe and violence-free society.

Healthy Nutrition for a Safe Life

Moamena Kamel Foundation, in cooperation with the AlMokhtabar laboratories, has been providing awareness campaigns on the importance of healthy nutrition since 2023. In cooperation with nutrition experts, the aim is to raise awareness of healthy nutrition in the most needy communities by introducing appropriate nutrition systems for mothers and families, healthy cooking methods, and paying attention to children's nutrition for healthy growth. During May and June 2024, the following were held: - Four sessions for women of different ages in the Warraq and Mansouriya areas to raise awareness among more than 180 women about healthy nutrition and malnutrition diseases. The awareness sessions helped raise women's awareness by 18% - During May 2023, two sessions were organized in the Sayeda Aisha area and Shorouk City, with the attendance of more than 75 women.

Celebrating World Environment Day with Hands-on Workshops & Environmental Awareness Session

n commemoration of World Environment Day and in line with our mission to promote environmental awareness, Moamena Kamel Foundation, in collaboration with the Central Department of Environmental Media and Awareness, organized an environmental awareness workshop for the residents of Warraq at Atta'a El Rahman Association. The workshop witnessed an enthusiastic participation from women and children, with 60 women and 21 children of different ages attending. The workshop featured a variety of workshops aimed at spreading environmental awareness, covering: The importance of reducing plastic use and its negative impact on the environment. Ways to utilize waste and recycled materials to create new items. The significance of natural reserves. The workshop also included practical workshops for women on how to recycle waste and transform it into unique artistic decorations made from cardboard, fabric, and recycled soap. The second part of the workshop focused on children with interactive workshops on: The concept of the environment and its importance for life. An artistic activity to create drawings about environmental problems and their solutions. Discussing marine life and how to conserve it.

"Check and Be Reassured" Breast Cancer Awareness Initiative

The Foundation organized awareness sessions in March to mark International Women's Month and in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in collaboration with Baheya Hospital and with the support of Al-Borj Scan Centers.

The sessions targeted beneficiaries from the most vulnerable associations and employees from different companies aged 35-48.

The Foundation conducted 9 awareness sessions with the participation of more than 270 women.

The sessions successfully increased awareness among beneficiaries in the most vulnerable associations by 71% in addition to increasing awareness among employees in various companies and banks by 25%.
